So in my Ornithology class now that the weather is warming up we take these Awesome field trips during class to put our knowledge to the test!!! They are really fun and we just spend several hours driving around looking for birds!!! For example, the bird above is a black-necked stilt, typically found in shallow water. Notice how the it has a long beak for dipping down looking for food!!!!
