So for my job this summer I am working as a Biological Tech for the Forest Service in the Richfield District in the Wildlife Department under Biologist Kreig Rasmussen!
I have only worked a couple of days but from what I have done so far, I have LOVED it! It is exactly the kind of work I want to do!!! I get to go out and identify birds and spend all day in the mountains!
This is an example of a Goshawk nest that we survey to see if the nest are active! We have about 20 of these nest that we visit throughout the Fishlake area.
This is what my office looks like and I wouldn't want it any other way!!!!!
